Fernando Marroquín

He holds a Law degree from Universidad San Pablo-CEU, specializing in corporate / commercial law and M&A.

Fernando began his professional career at Alonso Ureba, Bauzá & Asociados.

He was a partner at Ramón y Cajal Abogados (2005-2013) and Baker McKenzie (2013-2018), providing management, coordination and advice in the sale and purchase of shares and assets of large business groups, corporate restructuring and several corporate transactions, the drafting and negotiation of shareholders’ and investment agreements, coordination of due diligence processes, performance of secretarial duties for boards of directors, as well as management and coordination of legal proceedings.

He has published several articles in Revista de Sociedades on practical corporate issues.

He has given lecturers on family protocol at Universidad de Albacete and was a professor of the Master’s in business management and insolvency law at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos.

Since 2009, he is a professor of the Master’s for access at the legal profession and of the Master’s program on business law at ICADE.
