Ignacio Moratilla

He holds a Law degree from Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha. Ignacio completed his training with a Master’s Degree on Corporate Legal Counseling at ICADE (2001), along with an Advanced Course on Corporate Labor Law at the Asociación para el Progreso de la Dirección, APD (2005).

In 2017, he was trained in corporate management at the General Management Program (Programa de Dirección General) from IESE. These skills allow him to come up with more sophisticated legal strategies based on his deep understanding of corporate management.

Ignacio began his career in a boutique law firm specializing in labor law headed by Prof. Luís Enrique de la Villa, subsequently joining (in 2005) another boutique law firm also specializing in employment law led by Alfonso Caldevilla. This firm ended up merging with corporate law firm Dutilh (currently DA Lawyers). Ignacio worked there until 2019.

He has provided legal counseling to many prestigious Spanish and foreign companies, and he has assisted many domestic and international executive committees. His legal advice revolves around a deep knowledge of the client’s business model and sector. Throughout his career, Ignacio has mostly worked within industrial contexts, advising on restructuring processes, senior management relocation and contracting, collective bargaining, and supply chain auditing (subcontracting). He usually speaks at clients’ in-House training events, particularly those involving executives, managers and team leaders.
